Tanya Lea Anderson
Director of Community Outreach – North Carolina
My name is Tanya Lea Anderson affectionately known as Teelea. I am a mother of four, a wife, a mental health coach, and a NC certified peer support specialist. I am a lupus warrior and autism mom. I am from Wilmington Delaware, now living in Charlotte North Carolina. I have been doing community activism and outreach for over 14 years. I’m an active member of my church where I am the head of the intercessor prayer team. My lived experience with addiction, domestic violence, molestation, rape, poverty etc is why I decided to start helping people. I don’t want anyone to hurt nor suffer the way I did. I enjoy reading, journaling, music, and learning new things. I currently am employed at a group home for troubled teenage girls where I’m labeled as “Momma Hen.” I’m excited to join the team as we journey into new territories and new adventures.
